An Overview of the High-Performance Driving Experience With HOD

Based in San Francisco, Peter O’Sullivan is an established sales executive with demonstrated excellence in enhancing revenues while working at multiple technology firms. Peter O’Sullivan of San Francisco serves as a category lead of technology at Facebook and motivates the company’s global network of teams. Outside of work, he enjoys racing his Porsche GT3RS while participating in the Hooked on Driving (HOD) program’s High-Performance Driving Experience (HPDE).

Established in 2004, HOD offers a non-competitive driving program to assist drivers of all ages and skill levels with enhancing their driving skills and gaining a better understanding of the capabilities of their cars. HOD operates the High-Performance Driving Experience program as a full-day course that provides education on driving safety while increasing skills needed to navigate a closed road course.

Participants in the HOD program are grouped according to their experience and ability and assigned to one of four levels ranging from beginner to advanced. Each driver receives guidance and monitoring throughout the program and typically spends two hours on course. Most participants bring their own sports cars, although HOD also offers race cars that can be rented.
